This Love

Lately I find myself lying around in the midday
sun on my couch thinking of
this love.

And I find the thought of being without
just as unnerving as the idea of
being with.

And I wonder if somehow my subconscious shall find
a way to sabotage us (you) as it
always does.

And I pray with all of my strength that this time
my heart will not deny
this love.
